Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Midtown East (Sutton Place), NY family with an infant son (b. Aug 2026), starting mid-November 2026. This is a long-term role as the family is looking to partner with someone who will grow with their son from infancy into toddlerhood. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing + proactive care, supporting his early language and motor development, establishing & adapting his sleep routine, and generally interacting with their son with an engaging, hands-on approach. Education or equivalent practical knowledge of stages of infant & toddler growth and development is key to this role, as well as experience with potty training and introducing solids. To be successful, you will need to be highly experienced with infant and toddler care, dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and willing to work with parents to create a wholesome & engaged activity schedule inside & outside the house each week. The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc.) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (family will have a housekeeper). Note, limited screen time in front of a child is required. Candidates looking for a team-oriented dynamic with first time parents (Dad works from home) would be a great match for this family!

Location: Midtown East (Sutton Place), NY

Start date: Mid-November 2026 (family has some flexibility for their ideal candidate)

Days/times: Monday to Friday: guaranteed 50 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 6pm. Flexibility as needed for additional hours (primarily in the evening until 7-8pm) is required; ability to stay overnight occasionally is a plus. No travel expected.

Children: One infant son (born Aug 2026)

Conditions: $35-40 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus unlimited monthly OMNY card, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year.   • Authorization to work in the US
  • An ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working with families with infants / toddlers
  • A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with infants and eventual toddlers
  • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, high emotional intelligence, and a demonstrated focus on early language and motor development
  • A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support a busy, dual working parent household
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Infant CPR / First Aid Certified
  • Vaccinations: Up-to-date TDAP (last 5 years) / Flu / MMR required; COVID preferred
