Part Time Nanny required for a Williamsburg family with a toddler son (b. June 2024), starting March (flexible for the right candidate). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties and interacting with their son in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way while also being an helpful, extra set of hands around the home. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with young toddler care and looking to partner long term with a hands-on and present SAHM. An active and warm nanny with knowledge of ages and stages of child growth, development is key to this role. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to complete general household duties independently (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (family does have a biweekly housekeeper for deep cleans). Friendly and outgoing candidates looking for a team oriented dynamic would be a great match for this family! The family is looking for a partnership with a nanny who is playful, silly and creative with a cultural understanding.
Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY
Start date: March, 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
Days/times: Family open to guaranteeing 25-35 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am to 2pm (if guaranteeing 35 hrs, 5 hours would ideally flex for either a full day as needed or date night each week). No other regular evening or weekend hours expected - candidates comfortable traveling with the family for vacations (with advance notice) would be ideal.

- Authorization to work in the US
- An ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years experience working with families with young children
- A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with toddlers
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
- Experience in partnering + supporting first time parents with toddler milestones (ideally with a SAHM)
- Comfortable with pets - family has a 37lb loving and cuddly Australian Labradoodle. Light dog walking and duties expected
