Full Time live-out Nanny required for an UES family with an infant son (born June 2025) starting Summer/early Fall 2025. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child-related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their infant son in an active, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is warm, trustworthy and who above all loves children. The first-time parents are looking for a long term partnership with someone who is a positive, responsible and reliable individual. The ideal candidate is someone calm, proactive, helpful and experienced with newborn + toddler milestones. Strong communication and common sense/good judgment are key to this role - both parents work full time and Dad works from home. International + domestic is expected during vacations with the family.

Location: UES, NY

Start date: Summer/early Fall 2025 (Mom is currently on maternity leave)

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week: General hours to land between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, with availability to flex as needed to 50-55hrs during busy work weeks for the parents.

Children: Son (born June 2025)

Conditions: $30 - $40 per hour* paid as W2 employee plus standard sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

  • Work authorization for the US
  • A minimum of 5-10 years experience as a nanny (must have long term, tenured experience)
  • Recent experience working with an infant
  • A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and eventual toddlers
  • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
  • Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
  • An open and flexible schedule
  • Ability to complete all child-related duties (including, but not limited to: child meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying nursery and play areas, child's laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
  • A professional appearance
  • Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
