Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Hell's Kitchen family with an infant son (b. Oct 2025), starting no later than early January 2026. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing + proactive care and interacting with their son in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with infant care, gentle mannered, patient and looking to partner with parents who value good communication. The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state. Candidates looking for a team oriented dynamic with first time parents would be a great match for this family! A warm, hands on and engaging nanny with education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development is key to this role.

Location: Hell's Kitchen, NY

Start date: no later than early January 2026

Days/times: Monday to Friday: guaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 6pm (likely consistent 50 hours a week). Flexibility as needed for additional hours is required. No immediate travel expected.

Children: One infant son (born Oct 2025)

Conditions: $30 - $35 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus unlimited monthly metrocard, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year. Family open to providing healthcare stipend for the perfect candidate.

  • Authorization to work in the US
  • An ideal candidate has at least 10 years experience working with families with young children (with long term tenure)
  • A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with infants
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English - additional languages (Cantonese, French or Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
  • Experience in partnering + supporting first time parents with infant and toddler milestones
  • A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support a busy, dual working parent household
  • Comfortable with pets - family has a cat and a dog. The family places the dog in a daycare during the day - no daily pet duties expected.
